PHANTASMAGORIC ART .

PERSONAE Series.

Inspired by archetypal images of the human drawn from prehistoric and ancient cultures, I have developed a style I have named : "PHANTASMAGORIC ART". 

This uses archetypal imagery to reflect modern consciousness.

PERSONAE aims to represent the phantasms , dreams and phobias of adult life that have their unconscious roots in childhood. These images confront the viewer with the internal worlds of the personae projected through colour and form onto external reality.

This is some new things I am  been working on at the moment. It is all about self liberation and expression through out my own imagination, visions and environment.
They are the first two paintings I have done from a new series which I will call : PERSONAE

My latest series of work:GROUP OF PEOPLE

Inspired from Renaissance artists such as for composition Paolo Veronese and Sebastiano del Piombo by creating scenes representing group of people gathering in different places and as for colors Giovanni Battista Cima da Conegliano and Bellini by using Orange, Red, Blue, Green, Naple Yellow and Pink as principal pigments.
I am composing art work with a 21st Century twist supported by an effect of stain glass windows.
